Created in Febuary 2009 as an editorially driven dubstep resource, Sonic Router relaunched on 4th April 2011 as a fully fledged website.

Covering blossoming electronic music in an austere and comprehensive manner, the Sonic Router project has spawned a record label, a monthly podcast for; a regular radio show on the now defunct plus monthly opinion columns on and in DJ Magazine as well as regular contributions to and Trap Magazine and words for publications like ATM, Bonafide, Brainer, FACT, Kmag, Resident Advisor and more. With further plans for tailor made events forthcoming, Sonic Router, as a brand, will increase its visibility without compromising its core attributes.


Our target audience is predominantly male, mainly between 18-34 with a heavy interest in new and breaking music.

Sonic Router has an international reach with on average 15k+ unique users and 35k+ page impressions a month and a newsletter database of 7k. The site is frequently cited in the international press with praise from publications including Resident Advisor, XLR8R, FACT and more.
